Parm Gill
Parm Gill first immigrated to Canada at the age of 14. He spent much of his young adulthood around the GTA before permanently settling in Brampton. A successful small business owner in the tourism and manufacturing sectors, he is proud to have generated a number of jobs for families in his community.
Parm was first drawn to politics because he believed that his dedication to hard work and strong family values could make a positive difference for the people of Brampton–Springdale. And just like many Canadians today, Parm wants to be part of a team that will get tough on crime, strengthen Canada’s economy, and work for equality for all Canadians. In addition, he has grown frustrated by the 13 years of inaction and scandal by previous Liberal governments, and wants to stand with a Party that will bring accountability to Ottawa.
Giving back to the country and community from which he has gained so much has always been important to Parm. Through the years he has volunteered with such organizations as the Peel Regional Police, and Canadian Eye Sight International. He is a strong believer in helping those who are less fortunate in his community.
Parm believes that our greatest accomplishments come from being a parent. He and his wife Amarpal have three wonderful, energetic children. Together the family enjoys such activities such as baseball, hockey, swimming and golf.
